David Borts

David Borts is a PhD student in AVI, currently working on a TRACETRACE (Toyota Research on Automated Cars in Europe) is a Toyota-funded network of European research labs working on computer vision for automated cars. The TRACE Zurich project is led by Christos Sakaridis. project. His research interests are geometry foundation models, 3D generative models, and how to make them more geometrically consistent, with a broader background in neural rendering and generalizing it beyond conventional cameras.

He completed his undergraduate studies in Computer Science at Princeton University and a master's at ETH Zurich, where he worked with Prof. Luc Van Gool. He has also held a research position at Princeton's Computational Imaging Lab with Prof. Felix Heide.
